Roadie is an educational game about verbalizing and speaking about musical instruments: sound, timbre and music. The game presents verbal challenges to the player, where instruments are described using words and sentences.
The challenge for the player is to find instruments by understanding the meaning of descriptions about them and correlate them to sound samples of a range of instruments. Clue deciphering is multidimensional as clues contain not only instrument characteristics but also geographical and cultural clues. To find a potential location of an instrument, the player must decide where to go and then travel the world spending limited time resources. This keeps the player focused on trying to understand clues.
