Collected data’s purpose

Automatically collected data is used solely as a log for security reasons and will not be used in any other circumstances. Information, collected via the use of analysis-tools and Cookies, will be used solely for optimizing the user experience at AWE’s website, compilation of statistics and optimization of advertising.


Customer Account

When a visitor creates a Customer Account (user), this person registers him- or herself with name, address and contact information. In accordance with Danish Law, this information is used solely for billing.

AWE collects the following user and or customer data at

  • Sign-up for Newsletters: Name, e-mail address and country are collected in order for AWE to send newsletters
  • Contact via e-mail: the e-mail address as well as the data available such as name, phone number and address are collected. All inquiries are saved and stored electronically.
  • Participation in surveys: When participating in AWE’s surveys, AWE collects the data listed under “automatically collected data”. It’s up to the participant whether or not he/she wants to inform AWE about the participants personal information, which is being collected in order to strengthen the validity of the survey


All passwords and other extra-sensitive information are stored and encrypted in our database.


Credit Card Information

In accordance with Danish law, we are not able to view nor do we store your credit card information at any time. When you enter your credit card information during a new purchase, this is done via a secured and authorized server with an encrypted connection. This ensures maximum safety for you when you make your purchase.

You have the opportunity to see the information we have stored about you by writing an e-mail to In this email you must provide a valid ID so we can identify who you are. We will under no circumstances disclose, sell or trade personal information to third parties. We may release your information in order for us to obey the law, enforce our site policies or protect ours or others rights, property or safety.


Removal of information

The customer can at all times request the removal of all personal data related to the customer that AWE might be in possession of, if the customer can clarify for his/her identity. Please contact us on if you wish to do this.

AWE will also remove customer information after 2 years. We store this for this amount of time for statistical purposes and to improve user experience.
