Audio Augmented Reality – now available in Unity!
Also available as complete package including iOS & Android here.
The Jabra Intelligent Headset has built-in sensors tracking your head’s movement and rotation. It contains GPS, Compass, Gyroscope and Accelerometer making it more than capable of tracking your user’s whereabouts. The sensor data is transferred from the device to your smartphone via Bluetooth.
This means, you can start creating experiences for augmented reality with audio right now in Unity.
Since we can track where the user is located in the world and which direction the head is pointing (read where the user is looking), we can populate or augment the real world with a digital layer of content.
The combination of Unity 3D and Intelligent Headset makes it possible to create audio augmented reality how you like it!
This asset will make your project able to retrieve live sensor data from the Jabra Intelligent Headset into a Unity project. The headset and this asset can be used for both iOS and Android smartphones.
